HEADCANONSFifty years old. Born 1961, July 28. Leo.Raised Roman Catholic by his mother. Church on Sundays, grace before meals, etc.Shifted toward Hellenism later in life after getting hooked on heroes like Achilles and Heracles and philosophers like Aristotle and Epicurus. (His mother has no idea. She would lose her mind.)Deeply traditional. If his mother does not like you, the relationship is over. Polite, gentlemanly, holds doors, shakes hands, but none of that cancels out his ego or the aggression that comes out the second he is pushed. He kills and beats people for the slightest inconvenience, without hesitation.Raised in Tijuana, Mexico, by his mother. Father deceased. Moved through California as an adult and eventually settled on Sunset Boulevard.Famous in the sports world as a pro‑wrestler by age twenty in 1981.Started abusing steroids after being introduced to them by his coach.Met his wife, Christine, at a Playboy Club where she worked as a Bunny. Their daughter, Bambi, was born two years later in 1983.After killing an opponent in 1984 during a steroid‑fueled match, he fled back to Mexico and laid low, disgraced. His celebrity pulled him into the Luchadores. With a sharp business mind and an intimidating presence, he quickly became their enforcer and a steroid dealer, using his knowledge to target vulnerable athletes.Inspired by nightclub life, he wanted his own venue. With his money, Killbane opened Esmeralda, his first casino‑bar, using it to launder money for the Luchadores, run shark tanks and turn a profit.Promoted to lieutenant, he attempted to break back into professional wrestling. In 1988, he met Angel. They became tag partners and friends. Killbane rebuilt his reputation through Angel and became a star again in Mexico, though jealousy eventually drove him to unmask him. (Insert SR3 canon.)He rose to leadership of the Luchadores through a combination of outperformance and assassination, climbing swiftly up the ladder. He joined forces with Luren in 1993 and, through him, secured a way back into America.By 2005, Killbane had established himself as the second member of The Syndicate, was running the Murderbrawl as a way to destroy professional competition, and owned nearly every casino in Steelport. He continues to use them as fronts for the massive drug‑trafficking operation he oversees, along with shark tanks and laundering schemes. To the public, he appears as a charismatic, ageing but prominent sports‑celebrity‑turned‑business‑mogul who runs charities for disadvantaged children. In reality, the charities are recruitment pools. He handles the cash, drugs, security and media side of The Syndicate, using his fame and charm to manage the press. He is extremely wealthy.Seven feet tall.Speaks fluent Spanish, which he always uses with his mother.Highly intelligent. Enjoys classic novels, classical music, fine art, mythology and history and, of course, sports.Years of steroid abuse damaged his natural testosterone production. He experiences erectile dysfunction. He can become aroused and can get an erection, but maintaining it without assistance is uncommon.Owns two Cane Corsos, Luciano and Gambino. They serve as guard dogs and pets and are highly aggressive on command. The media is a major part of his celebrity. He has appeared on everything from billboards to nude spreads in sports magazines. He is selective about what he allows his image, or the Luchadores’ image, to be associated with.
RELATIONSHIPSBambi Pryor
Daughter
Twenty‑nine years old. Blonde and blue‑eyed. Maintains a polished, camera‑ready appearance, including silicone breast implants and light botox. Always wears heels. Works as a television personality and weather presenter. Considered a local celebrity. For her professional work, she uses the stage name Bambi Brooks (after Brooke Hogan, as a satirical reference). She does not use her father's surname and keeps a distance from his reputation.Bambi was very young when Killbane left and has had little contact with him since. During the Saints' attack on Steelport, she is out of the city covering a story and is unaffected by the events. When she returns, the Saints do not target her, as she makes it clear she has no active connection to her father, who has already disappeared again. She later relocates to Canada to be closer to her mother. Her position in the media indirectly benefits Jane, as Bambi's connections make it easier for Jane to secure interviews with the Luchadores. This places the two women on consistently good terms.—Christine
Ex-wifeFormer cocktail waitress at the Boytoy Club in San Diego (the Saint's Row equivalent of a Playboy Bunny venue). Met Killbane during the early years of his fame. She later filed for divorce on grounds of abandonment after Killbane fled to Mexico and cut all contact with her and their daughter. Christine has since remarried, this time to a wrestler‑turned‑police officer, and now lives in Canada.

Lucy Olivia Kennedy was born in Ladysmith, British Columbia. Forty-three years old, her early life is largely undocumented, with most records sealed by the Umbrella Corporation or destroyed after she departed from the company. What is known is that she lost both parents in a car accident shortly before her twentieth birthday. With no immediate family remaining in Canada, she moved to the American Midwest to live with her uncle, gained dual citizenship and continued her education at Raccoon City University. She earned a degree in professional sciences and later lectured in bioinformatics at a nearby campus. In 1998, during the period leading up to the Raccoon City outbreak, Lucy claimed to be out of town for academic work. In reality, she had been invited to an interview with the Umbrella Corporation. This meeting marked the beginning of her involvement with the organisation. Her employment records from this period are heavily restricted, but it is known that she was recruited into Umbrella’s covert operations division and trained extensively in espionage, infiltration and assassination.Between the late nineties and early two‑thousands, Lucy was exposed to an early experimental strain of the Progenitor virus during an Umbrella trial. The virus bonded with her genetic structure rather than mutating her into a B.O.W., granting her enhanced agility, speed, strength and regenerative capability. She survived a process that killed most other test subjects, placing her in a rare category of successful viral adaptives alongside individuals such as Sherry Birkin and Albert Wesker. Umbrella continued to study her altered physiology until the company’s collapse.Following Umbrella’s downfall, Lucy continued operating within the bio‑weapons underworld. In 2012 she transferred to The Family, where Derek C. Simmons’ team conducted further analysis and reinforcement of her viral enhancements. Any long‑term defects remain unknown. Throughout this period she maintained a professional association with Ada Wong, though the two operated independently unless assigned together.Over the course of her professional life, she has been assigned several aliases, including Belle, Crystal and Rose. In 2021, she was placed with a strike team known as The Gardeners under the codename Rose. The team operated under The Connections and consisted of Evelyn (Tulip), Jamison (Foxglove) and Finley (Buttercup). Their mission was to infiltrate the Village and gather data on Mother Miranda's cult, the Four Lords, their plans, Chris Redfield's Wolfpack and Ethan Winters. The mission collapsed, and the team was separated. Finley was eaten by House Dimitrescu, Foxglove infiltrated House Beneviento and was butchered by Donna, and Lucy and Evelyn reached the Reservoir, where they engaged Moreau. Evelyn was captured, but Lucy escaped, transforming into her insectoid form. Miranda, unaware that one of the spies was a B.O.W., ordered her captured. She was eventually found hiding in her makeshift base in the caves near the river a few days later, located by Heisenberg through her laptop. After deliberation, she was handed over to him, who was deemed capable of containing her underground.Heisenberg became infatuated with her, but Lucy remained in captivity only long enough to plan her escape. Working behind his back, she freed herself, contacted her handlers and secured extraction. She returned to her employers, Zeno and Dr Gideon, carrying all of Heisenberg's research she had obtained, along with additional data gathered during the mission.Lucy's field career is defined by direct action and high adaptability. She is an accomplished infiltrator and hacker, capable of bypassing military‑grade security systems and manipulating surveillance networks. She is trained in close combat and proficient with a wide range of weapons, favouring sniper rifles and scoped firearms for long‑range elimination. Her standard equipment includes an M1A1 sniper rifle, a Beretta 92FS, a Remington 870 and a Soviet NR‑43 combat knife. For assignments requiring rapid travel or escape, she uses a Ducati 1199 Superleggera. She also carries a grapple hook, though she uses it far less frequently than Ada.Physically, Lucy is five feet nine inches with deep blue eyes and gold-blonde hair. She is confident, direct and private with her motives. Her personality contrasts sharply with Ada's subtlety. Lucy prefers to confront problems head‑on and is fully capable of operating without a partner. Her interests include hard rock and motorbikes, both of which reflect her straightforward nature.---OTHERDespite sharing the surname Kennedy, she has no relation to Leon. The similarity is coincidental. She is infected with multiple viral strains, the result of nearly every organisation she has worked for subjecting her to injections, implants or controlled exposures to study symbiosis and multi‑strain hosting. There is a chance she could die, and she's aware of that. Over the course of her career, Lucy has accumulated a complex viral profile. At present, she carries T‑Veronica and Uroboros, both stabilised through conditioning and the presence of a controlled T‑strain that allows her body to host them without immediate degeneration. She is, however, subject to the Raccoon City Syndrome. Though she doesn't directly appear in RE9:R, she is mentioned by Gideon (either in dialogue or a note) as determined to find Elpis to cure herself. Whether or not she ever is is never revealed. In an AU where Heisenberg succeeds in his plan to kill Miranda and becomes the cadou Alpha, he tracks Lucy to Canada, keeps her imprisoned for weeks and fathers a son with her, Rory. Lucy is an absent mother and hates both the child and the father, the boys becoming closer for it. This is strictly an AU, and not her canon. Her art here is drawn by me, coloured by me, and shaded with Gemini.
Her FC is 90s Pamela Anderson.

Crash Bandicoot / Sam & Max
Name: D'Enfer Cortex (née Granata)
Pronunciation: Don-FairOther names: She is commonly referred to as “Mrs Cortex” or “Miss Granata”, or “Agent Granata/Cortex”. Infuriatingly, she is dubbed “bandicoot”, “animal” and “marsupial”. Besides that, D’Enfer is (very rarely) called various petnames by Neo ("dear", "sweetness", "darling", etc.) and her especial yet bizarre pet name of "melonball".Titles: "Miss", "Mrs", "Ms." and "Madam" (Tropy tends to dub her this when he's annoyed with her). As she is officially a special operative, "Agent" is also appropriate.Appearance: Very tall, standing at 6’2” (6’5” with her horns) and is head and shoulders above almost everyone else. Voluptuous with a slender, hourglass figure, narrow waist and broad hips. Long luxurious black curls that fall to the waist, turquoise eyes which are heavy-lidded and seductive in appearance. Despite her anthropoid appearance and like most of the creatures made with mutagenic techniques, she possesses an overall animal appearance, including short, orange fur with a white underbelly, a black button nose, a snubbed muzzle, and pricked ears. Due to her jinn heritage, partially responsible for her creation, she also possesses a set of curved horns, the right one of which has a chip in it, and a tapered tail with a spade on the tip. Her demonic features are scaled and cool to the touch.Birthday: Officially not known, though her experiment date when she came into contact with the Evolvo-Ray is recorded as July 13.Birthplace: Palermo, Sicily, Italy (evident by her thick Italian accent)Hometown: Wumpa Island, Australia.Deathdate: Inapplicable as of current, though it has led others to believe otherwise by having faked her death multiple times for the mission's sake.Known languages: European English and Italian. Due to the lack of Italian speakers, however, she speaks the former more often than the latter, and attempts to pick up parts of the Australianised variant.Finesse: D’Enfer is particularly skilled with firearms, most notably small guns and SMGS, as well as timed explosives and traps. Due to her training, she is also a proficient gymnast, master thief, good at hand-to-hand combat, is a skilled hacker and lockpicker and—on a far less violent note—is talented at crochet.Ineptitudes: Because of her tall stature in comparison to those around her, D’Enfer finds piloting or driving anything besides motorcycles or hover devices difficult unless they have been made for her especially. She is also a notoriously awful cook; a common misconception is that she would be wonderful at it as she is Italian. She also cannot use melee weapons to anywhere near the same finesse as guns.Temperament: Though she is cool and distant with the mutant henchmen, Cortex and his doctors surround themselves with, mainly because she does not associate herself with an animal, she is greatly different to the humans. She carries a weakness for Neo personally. She is coquettish by nature, coy and seductive, being so if only to relish in the discomfort she spreads amidst the gawky humans. Brave, quick-witted, intuitive and sly, she gets what she wants, though when insulted, she is a force to be reckoned with.Lures: Intelligence, wealth, muscular builds, dominant state of mind, submissive state of mind, grasp of the Italian language, wit, humour.Hobbies: Shopping. Especially for dresses. And crochet.Equipment: Two MPT-9K SMGs (dual-wields), Desert Eagle .50 semi-automatic, sticks of dynamite, C-7 foam contained in a spray can and a reinforced hookshot/grapple gun. She also has an advanced hack tool and a monocle lens that acts as an X-ray device. These all stand as her typical field gear, though, after joining N. Labs, she also carries an MP-443 handgun, M67 fragmentation grenades, experimental flashbang grenades, and experimental incendiary grenades. She usually field-tests Neo's creations and devices, including her most prized possession R053R3D (ROSERED), an N. Labs prototype LRP sniper rifle, crimson in colour, which has a grenade launcher built into the underside of the barrel. It was the first thing Neo gave to her, and she thus considers it precious. She also makes use of the cartoon trope of a hammerspace, pulling things comically from her cleavage.—CB1 - CB2
After leaving Doctor Cortex's employment following the former's defeat at the hands of his eccentric, failed experiment and harbouring a vicious jealousy, Nitrous Brio embarked on an expedition around Europe to continue his scientific pursuits. When his travels brought him to Italy, ironically working the bar at a science convention, he made the acquaintance of Professor Bea Dazzle. Though Dazzle’s studies dabbled more in the occult sciences—alchemy, astrology and natural magic—she had a deep interest in mutagenesis and an equal dislike of Cortex and his known habit of taking credit for inventions that were not his, and thus a new friendship was formed. After a night of heavy drinking and much back-and-forth of “it can, it can’t”, the two fixated on the notion to create a creature with both scientists’ specialities. Dazzle allowed Brio to move into her laboratory in Palermo and make full use of her research and notes, and in turn aided him in rebuilding his Evolvo-Ray, studying beneath him as his apprentice. The two worked implacably over the course of a year to design the perfect creature: part animal, part jinn. Brio had insisted early on in the project that the creature used was to be a bandicoot, having seen (and been beaten the absolute shit out of) their potential, dexterity and litheness. Crash had proven, if nothing else, hard to put down. Brio’s goal: to set his perfect creation on those who had wronged him. Dazzle's goal: to prove her side of the argument that magic and science would work. With the true inventor of the perfected Evolvo-Ray behind the switch and Dazzle’s preternatural input, the result was D’Enfer—French for Devil, a name given for the nefarious horns and tail she had developed.Brio left not long after D’Enfer’s “birth”, his passion for world domination and revenge renewed thanks to the experiment’s success, and continued his journey around France and England, leaving the beast in the hands of Dazzle to be trained. He ended up returning to Australia to build a laser.—CB3:W
During his absence, D’Enfer was put to work against the Palermo laboratory’s intense defensive A.I. and unworldly phantasms Dazzle had cooked up to pitch her against, honing her skills. She became proficient in small firearms, stealth, infiltration, hand-to-hand combat, hacking, lockpicking and gymnastics - as dexterous as Brio said she would be. Her greatest skill and excellence by miles was her finesse with explosives, which had earned her the nickname "Granata" amidst the laboratory’s goons – grenade in Italian, which D’Enfer took as her surname.By the time he returned, following the crash of Cortex’s space station, Brio was elated to discover D'Enfer had been in action as a fully-fledged secret agent, thus far and successfully having been sent out all over the globe by Dazzle to pilfer various data and prototypes from other visionaries, sabotage rival companies, and even assassinate a handful. He was heralded as the creator of these many devices that she had stolen, no one the wiser to the truth. She was the most adaptable, adroit mutant in the history of his career.
Though Brio couldn't move on.When Cortex reared his head once again, this time alongside Uka Uka, being as difficult to keep down as his idiotic creation, Brio was seething. Harbouring that same, hateful spike of vengeance that had stayed with him since the start, if not grown worse, he sent D’Enfer to Australia to carry out her ultimate assignment yet. Her mission was to infiltrate N. Labs, steal all of Neo Cortex’s research data, bag any prototypes that were small enough to carry, and blow the place to hell. It would result in Brio claiming credit for everything Cortex had in the works - a befitting revenge.—Pre & CB4:WoC
It was a move that was ultimately his downfall. When D’Enfer reached N Labs, she found the infiltration surprisingly easy, but had not expected the sheer level of security thereafter, the army of mutants and clones, nor had she expected the fellow human masterminds he surrounded himself with. Brio had failed to mention that, given he had left Cortex’s service years before it had truly established itself. She was apprehended, personally interrogated by N. Gin and Cortex and immediately (and rather unashamedly) sold out on who had sent her and for what purpose.Cortex was bemused by her sheer level of honesty, which was perceived as “despicable” (a good thing), and was impressed she had wormed her way around a tight-knit security system. He released her into his custody, much to the serious contention of Uka Uka and the other doctors, though the move proved worth it in time. She was trained up, debriefed and with trust established, finally installed as Head of Security (and why not? Given she was the only one who had ever hacked the advanced network, it made sense to do so). She brought something to N Labs that everyone there had yet to see: results. Positive results. In a cruel twist of fate, for her first assignment as an agent of N Labs, Doctor Cortex turned her back on her creator, armed with not only the same level of femme fatale competence she had always had but also with technological superiority. She returned to Palermo, robbed Dazzle and Brio, and burnt the laboratory to the ground.—CB:TS
Her interest in Cortex had exceeded employer-employee status. Smitten with him, D'Enfer found him inadvertently amusing, charming, and outright laughable.Despite her attempts to seduce and woo him, which were not at all subtle, her feelings were not returned. At all. Cortex—even though he was gawky and very awkward about it—rebuffed her multiple times, even after he returned from the Antarctic three years later and saw her feelings had only grown more apparent.Eventually, he came to see past the animal and saw the intelligent, lethal, diabolical woman behind it. He continued to refuse her until she captured Aku Aku (with a grappling hook to the forehead), bagged an armful of crystals and took the rest of Crunch’s arm from the shoulder down during the scuffle to escape. The act of “unparalleled villainy” was lastly enough to win the doctor over. The two eloped to Amsterdam and were married within the week.—CB: MoM, and onwards
D'Enfer now spends her time carrying out missions and assignments as required of her by the company: thieving, sniping, seducing, infiltrating, hacking and spying her way over the globe, and as such, she is usually absent from the base in Australia.
Sam and Max(The information above applies where it can be copied and pasted.)A cat burglar, rival P.I., and gun-for-hire, D'Enfer is a walking headache for Sam more often than not. One day, she's blowing up banks. The next, she's robbing jewellery stores. Sometimes she takes the DeSoto out for a joyride just to see how fast it can go. She has even been known to heist the boys' clientele if the payout looks tempting enough. The current wife of Cringle, making her Mrs. Claus, and the one-time-married-but-it-lasted-three-hours ex-wife of Max. Slinky, sexy, and an all-around bombshell, she knows exactly what she is doing — and she carries actual bombs to prove it.

The Boys
June "Cloudburst" Ray (née Johnson) is a parody counterpart to X‑Men's Storm. She is a weather‑controlling Supe and the childhood sweetheart and wife of Stormbreaker, also known as Bobby Joe Ray, a former runner‑up for The Seven. Their marriage has a long history of infidelity on both sides, though Stormbreaker's actions tended to attract far worse publicity. Both June and Bobby Joe were raised in Memphis, the Deep South, and were regarded as local angels by their religious community. As Stormbreaker's powers grew stronger, the two of them moved away from their hometown. Fame and the big city changed both of them, and as June's own career began to rise, she was approached by Homelander. Their relationship escalated quickly, with Homelander exploiting June's compulsive need for sex, attention and affection.Stormbreaker eventually discovered the affair. Aware of the damage such a scandal would cause to all three of them and to the couple's chances of becoming professional Supes, he confronted Homelander. He challenged him, foolishly, and in return, Homelander killed him, killing their four‑year‑old daughter, Misty‑Lynn, accidentally in the scuffle.June, witnessing the event, lost control of her powers, creating destructive weather conditions. Vought subdued her and contained the situation. To protect their public image, Vought fabricated a story claiming that Cloudburst killed Stormbreaker after he murdered their daughter. In reality, June was taken into custody and held in a Vought facility, where her mental state deteriorated. Ten years later, she still resides there, now kept in secret, the world believing her dead, and is used to generate "natural" disasters, events engineered to endanger regions and populations, allowing The Seven to intervene publicly and boost ratings, influence and popularity.POWERS

Fable
The White Balverine of Millfields. Eighty years old. Alpha male.Turned at forty‑one by the previous White Balverine, Hickory has kept that same form ever since. Tall, muscular, blond, scarred and chiselled-featured. Arabelle Prideaux found him as a wounded young man in the woods and brought him to the family shack in Millfields. There he became attached to their daughter, Quartette, who was fourteen at the time. As they grew close, she confronted him about the disappearances and the strange behaviour she had begun to notice over the year. He told her the truth. He was a balverine, and he had been near the Dark Sanctum when her mother found him after a territorial fight with Silverpine’s pack, who'd left him for dead and taken his pack.Quartette refused to abandon him. Determined to help him find a cure after hearing his tale of being a blacksmith and horseminder years afore, she stayed at his side and earned his loyalty through every means she could manage, keeping him hidden from the master of the estate, Reaver. When Reaver sent Quartette away and the Prideaux family began to fall apart, Hickory returned to the woodlands, heartbroken to lose them. The local balverines accepted him and formed a family unit around him, naming him their Alpha. From there he began infiltrating Lakeview Manor to learn what had happened to the girl he considered his own. Reaver eventually discovered his presence and his connection to the Prideauxs, and ordered him hunted. Hickory was forced to abandon his search.Quartette’s return to Millfields brought him back to her side. He declared her his mistress and took on the roles she needed most. Steward, butler, liveryboy and lover. He remains the Alpha of the balverines, and through him, Quartette holds immunity and a powerful pack that protects her without question.—His art here is drawn by me, coloured by me, and shaded with Gemini.

Once, in a quiet corner of the kingdom, there lived a humble peasant farmer and his unassuming wife, two diligent souls who toiled endlessly despite the weight of poverty. For years they had prayed for a child, yet hope had always slipped through their fingers. Then, on a still winter night, the wife dreamed a dream unlike any other. A radiant woman, brighter than the sun, with hair like living flame and eyes of molten gold, appeared before her. She spoke of an ancient prophecy: during the festival of the Goddess of Power, a mighty warrior would be born. Blessed by divine grace, he would one day guide the future ruler of the land to victory, commanding ten thousand soldiers with unmatched strength and an unbreakable spirit. A god among mortals, reborn across countless ages. Not long after, the wife found herself miraculously with child. It was hailed as a wonder, for they had long abandoned the hope of parenthood. And during the Bonfire of Din that summer, their son was born. They named him Hyrule, in honour of the land that sustained them and the Goddess Hylia who watched over it.Far beyond their meadows, however, deep in the blistering heat of the north‑western deserts, another figure already knew of this prophecy. He, too, had lived through the ages, and he had always sought to claim the prophesied child as his destined champion. For Ganondorf, this lifetime would be no different. Two nights before Hyrule reached his third month, the Evil King descended upon the farm. He demanded that the infant be surrendered to him. Terrified but resolute, the parents refused, knowing their son’s gifts would be twisted toward darkness. Ganondorf was not a man known for mercy. He slaughtered them, burned their home to ash, and carried the child away into the desert he called home. There, the boy was raised not only as a Gerudo warrior, disciplined, formidable, and unyielding, but as a prince. Ganondorf’s adopted son. His most trusted blade. His ultimate weapon in the pursuit of the Triforce.By twenty‑three, Hyrule is a sight that inspires awe and dread in equal measure. Towering nearly seven feet tall, he is built of sheer muscle and scarred strength. His skin is deep ebony, his eyes a piercing blue that cuts more swifter than any sword, and his long black‑blue hair falls straight down his sculpted back. Quiet, disciplined, and fiercely loyal, he stands as both servant and son to the king who shaped him.Rarely far from Ganondorf’s side, he travels only for convoys and diplomatic missions, serving as Captain of the Guard. Across the realm, he is known as The Dark Knight, or The Black Knight of Power. His purpose remains unchanged through every age: to slay the Hero of Courage, capture the Princess of Wisdom, and secure Ganondorf’s reign as King of Hyrule and master of the Triforce.—Additional Notes
Hyrule stands at six feet five and a half inches, with a fully muscular build.Though often called “adopted,” the term is informal; there is no paternal bond. Hyrule is, above all, a devoted knight shaped by Ganondorf’s hand, and there are heavy implications of homoeroticism between them.He is fluent in multiple languages, including Hylian and Gerudo, taught directly by Ganondorf.A master marksman and swordsman, he excels with many weapons, favouring broadswords and lances. He is an accomplished rider and owns a black Shire stallion named Kami‑Na’ri.Gifted with extraordinary strength, Hyrule can tear stone columns from walls, a power granted by Din herself.

Baldur's Gate
Born in Silverymoon on the fourth day of Ches in the Year of the Shattered Sigil, Pearl Honeywell entered the world already bearing prophecy. She was a quiet child with ashen‑gold hair and mismatched eyes, features that drew attention long before she understood why people thought it appropriate to stare. At six years old, she was taken to the Sisters of the Severed Voice, a secluded order of women devoted to a strict interpretation of the Oath of Vengeance. The reasons for her selection were never shared with her, and she remembers nothing of her family. (The Vengeance sect was known for recruiting only the “worthy,” purging their memories, and shaping them into zealous adherents.)At ten, she underwent the ritual that defined the order. Her tongue was removed, and she took a lifelong vow of silence meant to strip the Sisters of personal moral argument and bind them wholly to the judgment of their creed. Since then, Pearl has communicated through gesture, expression, the quiet authority of her presence, and— only with those capable of it — by allowing her mind to be read. (She takes immense exception to being forcibly mind‑read.)At nineteen, she stands five feet seven inches, sun‑kissed in complexion, slim but broad‑shouldered, shapely, her hair braided into two heavy plaits that fall to her calves and coil into twin knots at her crown. Her eyes are large, her lashes dense enough to cast shadows, and her full, glassy lips are the feature most often remarked upon. A scar cuts across the left side of her face and nose, its cause undisclosed. She carries a soft, almost fae‑like beauty that contrasts sharply with the severity of her training. Her personality is restrained. She is a virgin, entirely. (Like most paladin orders, they vow against romance, marriage, intercourse, etc.)Two decades before her birth, the monsignor of the brother‑order, Grand Maester Thalan Veyr (McGuffin), betrayed both sects. Seeking ascension, he sacrificed the souls of every sister, cleric, and knight in Silverymoon’s paladin orders to the demon lord Gargauth (canon demon), whose influence he had secretly courted. Gargauth granted him the status of a Diabolous’ Chosen oathbreaker, twisting his paladin gifts into something profane. The convent was nearly destroyed, its numbers reduced to a fraction of what they once were.In desperation, the Mother Superior, Sister Calanthe Myrr (McGuffin), sought a way to protect what remained. She forged a pact with Raphael, the archdevil cambion known for his calculated deals. Calanthe asked for a safeguard that would prevent Gargauth from claiming the surviving Vengeance sect. Raphael agreed, but demanded ownership of the girl born on the fourth of Ches, claiming she would one day be essential to something of great importance to him. He did not reveal that he had partially foreseen her eventual connection to Karsus’s Crown, nor how her life would intersect with its fate. Believing she acted for the greater good, so supported by her creed, Calanthe accepted.Pearl was sworn in as a paladin at sixteen, making the transition from nun to warrior, unaware that her soul had been bargained away for the Mother Superior’s secret chance to redeem the Vengeance Oathers over their betrayer before she ever drew breath. She trained as a paladin of Vengeance, Sister of the Severed Voice, raised to hunt down evildoers and bring justice to the innocent, all to prepare for her true pilgrimage: to travel to Baldur’s Gate, seek the oathbreaker who had shattered their order and taken up residence there, and restore what had been lost. Her path shifts abruptly when she is captured by mind flayers and taken aboard the nautiloid that crashes along the Sword Coast. The abduction tears her from the remnants of her order and thrusts her into the rising conflict surrounding the Absolute. She carries her vow still as she travels toward Baldur’s Gate with her newfound entourage, determined to avenge the Vengeance sect, the Severed Voice, and free herself from the parasite threatening to twist her into something monstrous—while she is watched from the depths, expected to play her blind part in the Hells’ battle for hierarchy and one devil’s climb for power.Scars: One across the right cheek and upper nose; small lacerations on knees and shins from kneeling on corn kernels and rice; branding marks from poker burns (left breast, right thigh, right hip.)AU: After the Crown of Karsus is delivered to Raphael and her Order is restored, Pearl is taken to Avernus and kept as an “artefact” within the House of Hope. There, as a prisoner‑resident under Raphael’s control, she eventually learns the truth of her soul’s bargain and the circumstances of her birth. She also discovers that Diabolous—the demon responsible for the fall of her Order—had manipulated Sisterhoods for centuries, using them as a covert pipeline for concubines and virgin consorts to high‑ranking devils. As the pieces fall into place and she comes to understand why she was brought to Avernus, Pearl is claimed as the Virgin Bride of Avernus, though she is far from content to play her role, quietly planning to escape back to Faerûn, biding her time and plotting with her friend and confidant, Zaikaria.Stats
